If this is your first gift, please check that you are on the member list. If you are not on there, you need to sign up.
Then send us a note entitled "Send art" and include the following in the body of the message.
I agree to make something lovely for the person I have been given, and I won't forget to include the Art ID in the envelope or parcel!
All the requests are assigned once a week (at present, Sundays), so be patient. You will then get a reply with the "profile" of the person you have been assigned, their address and the Art ID which you must include.
You are now free to make your gift! Their profile might give you some clues as to what they would like... or it might not, use your imagination! You are free to use any medium you choose as long as it's something you can send in the mail.
If you want to upload it to your deviantART so we can add it to the group, that's great! If you want to take a picture or a scan now but upload it later when it has been safely received so that they don't come across it by accident that's cool too. We won't add it to the group until it's been registered as received.
Now take it to the post office and send it on its way! Don't forget the Art ID
Limits
You can only receive one ID every week (Monday-Sunday). This is to ensure that people dedicate themselves to each gift rather than trying to do too many and not do any of them well.
You can also only have three gifts in progress at any one time. This includes ones which have been mailed but not registered yet. When someone registers a gift as received, you will be able to send more. If you want to check how many gifts you currently have in progress at any time, you can have a look at the member list.

Started means the date that the gift information was given to the artist.
Arrived means the date that the recipient received the gift in the mail, or, if we do not have that information, the date that it was registered. (The same date in most cases.)
N.B. The dates are in European, not American format. In other words, 2/3/2014 is the 2nd March, not the 3rd February.

April-May winners (at last!)
Doing our best to get updated with things over here :) Here are the April-May winners from last year. Amie should be announcing the next contest very shortly (if I've managed to set it up right so that she can add journals) which will be June-July-August and then we'll have a Sept-Dec one (since there weren't many submissions at the end of the year).

The very swanky Gentleman Tuxedo Cat by Chelliusbee (https://www.deviantart.com/chelliusbee) comes in first with 13 votes. Check him out! :D

Gallery folders open!
We've caught up a bit behind the scenes and are now ready to catch up with some of those expired submissions.
Currently taking submissions to the June, July and August galleries. Remember to include in the artist's comments that it was an Artcrossing (https://www.deviantart.com/artcrossing) gift and who you made it for, otherwise the submission won't get accepted. If you made a gift that got received in September, October or November please be patient for now and I'll open up the folders for those once all or most of the June-August gifts have been submitted.
Can anyone offer contest prizes? Even features are very welcome - it's nice to get more exposure for the group and the

Hey, I would like another profile, so I can send another gift. I have a week off this upcoming week so I have plenty of time to work on it.
